Manchester Rasch RG – First Seminar on November, 13 2013

Main-library-blue-gound200x156The Manchester Rasch RG is delighted to announce its seminar series ‘Measurement models in empirical research’, funded by the North West Doctoral Training Centre. The first seminar will be held on Wednesday the 13th of November 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00 P. M., in room AG 3 / 4 at the Ellen Wilkinson Building. Lunch will be provided from 12:00.

This first seminar is titled “Constructing measures for research: Rasch and (other) Item Response Theory models”, and includes talks from Prof. Julian Williams (Manchester Institute of Education, MIE), Dr. Maria Pampaka (MIE & Centre for Census and Survey Research, CCSR) and Dr. Nick Shryane (Institute for Social Change, ISC, & CCSR). The presentations will be followed by questions and an open discussion.
