Inclusive Education Discussion Group (The University of Manchester)

We would like to develop a discussion/reading group around ideas of inclusive education. This group will be linked to our networking role with the Enabling Education Network (EENET – www.eenet.org.uk). We see inclusion as a broad term that encompasses gender, poverty, class, ethnic background, language, disability, being street-connected etc.

Please let us know if you are keen to join us on Feb 25th at 3 – 4.30pm for the first session so we can book a large enough room if needed.

We propose that this session be an introductory one in which we get to know one another and our research interests and develop the aims of our future meetings and possible agendas.

We intend this to be an open group and encourage you to forward this invitation to colleagues from other institutions who may be interested in getting involved.

Please contact Su Corcoran (at postgrad.manchester.ac.uk) or Susie Miles (at manchester.ac.uk) for more information.
