Please, join us for the fourth event of the Manchester Rasch Research Group seminar series ‘Measurement models in empirical research’, funded by the North West Doctoral Training Centre.
The seminar will be held on Monday the 7th of April 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 P. M. in room 1.69-1.70 at the Humanities Bridgeford Street building, The University of Manchester (building number 35 on the campus map: http://documents.manchester.ac.uk/display.aspx?DocID=6507). Lunch will be provided from 12, and talks will start at 12:30.
We are pleased to announce the following talks (see the document in attachment for the abstracts):
· Brian Francis (Professor of Social Statistics at Lancaster University): The analysis of multiple attitudinal Likert items – latent classes and relative orderings
· Ian Jones (Royal Society Shuttleworth Education Research Fellow in the Mathematics Education Centre at Loughborough University): Crossing time and space on a comparative judgement engine
Their presentations will be followed by questions and an open discussion.
